Why have you updated your allergen advice?Updated 2 years ago

We have made the decision to introduce 'may contain' statements and therefore remove the ‘free-from’ claim. However, we will still be continuing our testing regime to ensure we are doing everything in our power to minimise cross contamination.

Dineamic has always been stringent on how we manage allergens. This will not change.

However, with the updated FSANZ allergen labelling requirements (https://allergenbureau.net/fsanz-update-new-allergen-labelling-requirements-imminent/) and further risk assessment of our production facility and dynamic supply chain landscape, we have made the decision to introduce VITAL 'may contain' statements and therefore remove the ‘free-from’ claim. We understand that may be perceived negatively by those that rely heavily on our allergen-free status however we are no longer comfortable making these claims in the interest of our customer’s safety.

Under the advice of Coeliac Australia, although all precaution is being taken to avoid cross contamination there is a possibility that gluten may still be present (hence the declaration!) so it is best to avoid products that carry these statements.

You can find more information on gluten here - https://dineamic-help-centre.gorgias.help/en-US/are-your-meals-suitable-for-people-who-are-gluten-intolerant-or-coeliacs-42687

When will this change take effect? The changes to allergen status is currently taking place. Packaging updates will be gradually rolled out across the Dineamic menu in the upcoming weeks in November/December 2021.

Will we continue testing for the presence of gluten and milk? We believe it is our due diligence that we continue monitoring our compliance to our allergen management system. Therefore, we will be continuing our testing regime to ensure we are doing everything in our power to minimise cross contamination.

Will this be happening across all products? Yes, all products and future products will be going under the microscope where we review the allergen and advisory allergen statements.
